ER Girls Soccer – District Champs!

Eaton Rapids left no doubt in the district championship, rolling past Columbia Central 6-0 in a match that was firmly controlled from start to finish. The Greyhounds dictated the pace early and never let up, showcasing depth, balance, and relentless pressure on both ends of the field.

Kennedie Crow led the charge with two goals, continuing her standout senior season in dominant fashion. Hannah Garity played a pivotal role in the attack as well, contributing one goal and two assists while consistently creating opportunities. Delaney Collins and Chloe Look each added a goal of their own to round out a well-balanced offensive effort.

One of the biggest moments of the night came from Kylie Alvarez, who found the net in her first game back after recovering from ACL surgery — an inspiring return that energized both her teammates and the crowd. Addy Schultz chipped in with two assists, and Estella Peterson added another to keep the offense flowing.

The win also marked the final home game for a strong senior class that has been instrumental in building the program’s success. Eaton Rapids recognized seniors #1 Kennedie Crow, #3 Lauren Mills, #6 Hannah Garity, #10 Kylie Alvarez, #15 Kyra Kennedy, and #16 Estella Peterson for their leadership and contributions over the years.

With the victory, the Greyhounds improve to 14-7-1 and extend their unbeaten run to nine games, hitting their stride at the perfect time in the postseason. They now turn their attention to the next challenge, traveling to Ann Arbor for a Regional Semifinal matchup on Tuesday, June 2 at 5:00 PM.
